We’re Teaming Up with WNY Heroes
12 Gates has been proud to announce it’s raffle items this past week. We mentioned that the proceeds were going to be donated to a charity, so we’ve chosen WNY Heroes, which is a local not-for-profit organization serving the needs of Western New York’s veterans and their families.
Since its inception in 2007, WNY Heroes, Inc. has grown exponentially, becoming a critical life-sustaining vehicle for veterans and their families by providing immediate financial assistance to those in need. Now, more than ever, the need is constant and growing in alarming fashion with so many veterans returning home. WNY Heroes is certain that the recent news of delays in getting services through the VA, that these brave and heroic men & women face upon their return, will further impact the need for program services within our organization.
Along with our contribution to the WNY Heroes fund, we will be offering all active military and veterans (with ID shown) *free entrance into Rock the Gates Music and Beer Festival. We are extremely thankful for every soldier’s service, so we are extending this invitation and free admittance as a form of gratitude.
The donation to WNY Heroes is also funded by Stereo Advantage, who has provided the 65″ Samsung UHD TV ($1300 value).
