Mountains of the Moon IPA

ABV: 6.1%

IBU: ~53 (but perceived very soft)

When Edgar Allan Poe penned the words to his famous poem “Eldorado” he would never have thought that one of it’s most famous lines would adorn the name of a beer. “Mountains of the Moon” pays tribute to this poem, by both title and phrasing by the mountainous amounts of El Dorado hops used throughout the process. This New England style IPA combines the El Dorado hops with Galaxy and Columbus to create a soft, piney, but remarkably fruity IPA. The malt backbone keeps all of the hops in balance all the while carrying a smooth background.

Look for notes of evergreen, pear, melon, and passion fruit.
