FestBier – 6% ABV, 20 IBU **Bronze Medal winner at the 2nd NY State Craft Beer Competition in July**
OOMPAH! Get your dimpled liter mugs out. This is THE authentic Munich Oktoberfest style Lager that is served at all the beer tents in late September in Munich. It is a beautiful golden color – not your typical American style hoppy amber lager. Crisp, and malty, but not sweet, and just enough noble hops to balance with the German Malts. The perfect beer to go with a huge soft pretzel. Prost!
Phoenix Pils – 5.3% ABV, 35 IBU
Using a traditional Bavarian brewing process, all German malt, and Noble hops, and fermented with a clean German yeast, this Pils finishes dry and smooth. Look for light bready malt and clean but floral hop presence. Drink this with schnitzel or sauerbraten.
Hefeweizen – 5.7% ABV, 10 IBU
A perfect German ale to pair with festival sausages and pretzels. This traditional German Hefeweizen blends German Pilsen malt with white wheat and a touch of Carapils to create a bready and smooth beer that is complimented with German Hallertauer Mittelfruh hops. The banana and clove aromas and flavors are derived from the special Weizen yeast. This beer is easy drinking and deliciously pairs with any German food!
German Radler at 2.6% ABV (refreshing, low ABV variant of our Hefeweizen)
Starting with our base Hefeweizen, we blended in Florida grapefruit juice and pink lemonade. The result is an effervescent, low alcohol beer for the beautiful fall festival days.
Cheers to 35 Years! Kellerbier – 5.5% ABV, 25 IBU
Cheers to 35 Years was the winning homebrew for the 35th anniversary of the Taste of Buffalo in July. A Kellerbier is a younger, fresher amber festival lager for the smaller, local festivals held around Germany. It is a “cellared” lager with a similar malty profile as a FestBier, but with the added bread crusty-ness from some darker malts. This beer pairs well with any type of food, German or not.
Resting Peach Face – 3.6% ABV, 6 IBU
Berliner Weiss beers are traditional Berlin-style hefeweizen with a light sourness. Our Resting Peach Face is kettle soured with Lactobacillus and then fermented with our house yeast. It is conditioned with fresh peach puree. The final result is sweet on the nose and palate, and finishes with the unmistakable kettle soured Berliner Weiss tartness. This pairs well with a warm fruit strudel with fresh whipped cream.
